1.Ring Ring
Ring Ring is still one of my most favourite songs at the moment. It is one of the successful attempts to draw inspirations from the retro sound, with several sections that drift away a little, like the trap breakdown in Sohee’s rap. Every single part is catchy. The chorus is extremely strong, supported by easy-to-follow choreography. You can never go wrong with these types of songs.

2.I Want U Bad
I Want U Bad falls on the slower side of their discography. The song does not really go anywhere. The vocal performance is slightly better than in Ring Ring, however, these slow mushy songs are not really my type in the first place. I don’t have much to say about it.

3.Ride
Ride harnesses the same retro sound found in Ring Ring, but this song is even stronger. The members sing their parts with power at the right amount without sounding strained. This results in a song that feels extremely balanced. The hooks here are not as strong as Ring Ring, but I think in every other aspect, both songs would be a great match.

Overall Thoughts
Ring Ring is a successful attempt from Rocket Punch and all the teams behind this work to create a comeback fully surrounding the retro style. All three tracks are definitely standouts in their discography. Rocket Punch has had both hits and misses in their singles run, and their discography feels very messy at times, but this might finally be it for them.

Personally, I think Ride tops the album for me. While the hooks are not as strong, the vocal performance is much better.
